Update from Nathan!

Hey everybody, and a special welcome to those of you i just added to my great big list of people I periodically update. so, here's whats been going on lately. back in december, for those of you that don't know, I was able to go home for a few weeks. I even got to be there for christmas. yay! anyways, so i went home, then i got to come back to beautiful iraq. boo! oh, well, i guess it's my job, right? anyways, washington was, as always, absolutely beautiful, i especially enjoyed the fact that it rained something like 14 out of the 15 days i was there. yay! so now i'm back and my unit has moved around (again) and now i live in what we lovingly refer to as the 'crack houses'. why do we call them that you ask? because they're run down and full of bullet holes. really. there's 10 of them right above my bed. speaking of which, my bed broke the first night i tried sleeping in it. not because i've just gotten that fat, it's just that it's metal and the supports were bent to begin with. so now my bed's on the floor and surrounded by the frame. not quite how it's supposed to work, but oh well. it's not too bad. at least i only work 12 hours a day every other day now instead of every day, like it was when i ifirst got back. and the food, well, let's just say it's nothing to write home about. so, anyway, i'm really not doing too bad, it's just kinda humorous how this is actually about ten times as good as last time.at least i have access to real showers. yay! so, i guess i'll talk to you guys later, huh?
