Dawson strikes!

Pretty heady stuff fo a 12-year old to be arrowing a buck but that is what happened last night. We have put in our time and had some close calls. I suppose we have over 30 hours in chasing these deer over the last couple weeks and it is hard when you are 12 to be still and be patient. We had some close calls and he made some mistakes but last night it all came together about a half hour before sunset. The buck came out of the pines 25 yards away and he waited patiently for the right opportunity and then put the smackdown on him. He did everything perfect and we are putting venison in the larder!
