Off we go...

Into the wild blue yonder!

We went back to Forest City for a basketball tournament this weekend and when we were about to leave for home on Sunday afternoon Crystal called and said she was flying back from Church in Austin (yes they flew to church that morning) and wanted to know if the boys would like to go for a little airtime. So we stopped off at the Owatonna airport and met them there on the way home. I took some photos from the plane, one is of the Cabela's store and one is of Pillsbury collge campus where Crystal attends.

It was fun and afterwards Crystal and Seth's friend and fellow student Eric (our pilot) took us for a short tour of the airport and the place where they do some plane restorations. Dawson and Sterling got to sit in a fighter jet and also a beechcraft that was owned by Harrison Ford.

Lots of fun. This was not the boy's first flight as they were on a float plane in Canada but it was pretty exciting for them.
